I’d like to find some Beyond MVs! 不再猶豫 is one of my favourites! I found some on youku and some on youtube, but they aren’t very good quality, and most aren’t KTV MVs!

Oh, I love Beyond as well. And yes, 不再猶豫 is one of my favorites too! But love any of their songs. It would be so nice if I can see some translations of Beyond songs here. Knowing the meaning takes you to different level when enjoying the song, and unfortunately I don’t understand the lyrics. (I’m learning!!)
Hmm, don’t know where to get good quality MVs. I bought a couple of CDs of them and both came with bonus Karaoke DVDs but they weren’t any good quality…

You may also be interested in foreign (not just English) songs with Cantonese lyrics.

There is also Cantonese songs with totally different Mandarin lyrics, e.g.

十個女仔 is actually written by Sam Hui; not an English song, but yes, Sam wrote lyrics for lots of other English songs. To name a few, Rock around the clock (Bill Haley) – 加價熱潮, Stay awhile (Ken Tobias) -青春夢裡人, Holiday (The Bee Gees) – 獨上西樓. And they are lovelier in Cantonese than originals!

I am in the process of collecting a list of English or Japanese songs fitted with Cantonese lyrics, those which are familiar to me or I happen to know, but *not* Mandarin songs fitted with Cantonese lyrics. A lot of netters have already done such lists, even with videos, and even listing “clashed (not crashed) songs” 撞歌 (zòng_gô) – two or more Cantonese songs from the same foreign dialect or language song.

I personally have 10 foreign songs translated (line by line) into Cantonese, under the minimun requirement that tones of Chinese characters be singable. It is surprising that such a translation can be made for quite some songs.
